Haters is such a silly word, especially when somebody's trying to laugh along with you. The first time I saw Alanis' version, I laughed myself silly. I was hoping to make you laugh. The material is so insipid that any send-up is automatically better than the original. Well, almost -- the only cover that isn't really worthwhile is Peaches "lady dumps".
